How much are your cupcakes?

$2.75 for standard sized cupcakes $28.00 a dozen

$1.25 for mini cupcakes $12.00 a dozen

What do you offer besides cupcakes?

We offer scones, cookies, french macarons and cupcakes daily. Custom cakes, pies, birthday, special event, and wedding cakes are made to order. We also have hand made chocolates for the holidays.

What is the best way to store cupcakes?

Cupcakes do not like to be refrigerated. They become dry and stale very quickly. Please store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. If needed, freeze cupcakes in an air tight container and thaw shortly before consuming.

How long do your cupcakes stay fresh?

Because our cupcakes are preservative free, we suggest consuming them the day they are purchased. If you want to preserve them for your enjoyment for a few more days, place them in the freezer in an air tight container and thaw shortly before consuming.

How much notice do you need for a special order?

As much notice as possible. We will accomodate any orders that we can, but it's always best to give us 24-48 hours notice to ensure we can accomodate your request. Short notice orders don't upset us. If we can make it, we will. Just call 518.583.3144 to place your order or inquire about special needs.

How do I know what cupcakes you have available daily?

We make different cupcake flavors each day. To get a list of our flavors for that day, give us a call. Some flavors sell out quickly so we would hate for you to be disappointed. Please call to ensure you know what flavors are available.

What is a special order? Do I need to call ahead?

We take orders for single, specially decorated cupcakes to dozens of cupcakes. No order is too small. We can even put aside an assorted dozen for you so you get the flavors that you want before they sell out. For custom orders, we usually require a dozen per flavor, unless you are happy with choosing from our flavors available that day.

When are the largest selection of cupcakes available?

We bake in the morning so our full selection of cupcakes are ready by 10-11am. If you want cupcakes before then, please call to arrange an early pickup.

What makes The Cupcake Lab's cupcakes special?

We use sweet cream butter, high quality sugar and flours, local award winning dairy products, pure bourbon madagascar vanilla, and specialty spices and cocoas. We use the best quality ingredients to ensure our cupcakes are delicious and worth every penny. We use NO trans fat products or shortenings in our cupcakes or buttercream. We use only the best, because you're worth it.

Who bakes your cupcakes?

Currently, the bakery products are baked daily by the owner and baker, Elizabeth Phillips. Elizabeth's pride in her products show through in all that she creates. Fresh scones, cookies, and cupcakes are available at The Lab daily.

Do you ship?

We are not currently shipping cupcakes, but we will be adding that service very soon. We can ship scones, cookies, and some of our other baked goods. Please check back shortly to see our shipping schedule.

Do you offer vegan or gluten free items?

We offer vegan baked goods for special orders. We are not currently offering gluten free baked goods due to the small space available to do our baking.
